I believe that online monthly meetings would be awesome. People that show up at these meetings are engaged and eager to debate given topics. It is more time-consuming but you get so much more than from Slack groups in my opinion.
Anyway, I know how hard it is to come up every week with a new essay and you are doing great, constantly bringing new things. It's not an easy job so thank you so much!!

And yess, there's risk of the community becoming a broadcast channel. The majority has voted for workshops and masterclasses though so perhaps we'll start there and see how things go.
Amazing, congratulations on the big 2K, Masooma! Circle is great, I'm on there for Being Freelance and Doing It For The Kids. I also think Zoom workshops or co-working can be super useful.
Also, for the Circle community — what do you think keeps on there? Of course, apart from the people. Because I don’t want to add to the noise (folks are already fatigued and all that) + I need a solid value prop to set it up and make the community a must-return sort of a place.

I think all of the options you mentioned sound good, but I'm leaning toward a Slack/Discord group and live workshops.
