June reflections
Everything we covered + what’s next.
Welcome to ‘Inside Product-led Content’ — weekly-ish, 2-min emails on growing your LLM visibility with product-led content.
New here? I’ve talked a lot about doing product-led content the non-salesy way — so if it interests you, hop into the archives.
I started this month feeling refreshed from my trip to Sri Lanka, but with a lingering sense that I’m somehow behind on my goals for InkandCopy, my consultancy.
It didn’t help that a friend casually reminded me we’re almost halfway through the year.
So I opened my monthly tracker in Notion — the place where I reflect on what I worked on, learned, and set the next month’s goals — and did a little tippity tappity toe through everything I’d been up to so far this year.
Thankfully, the evidence didn’t support the story I was telling myself:
→ I helped a client grow from 4% to 44% LLM visibility in a quarter.
→ Got back to sending newsletters consistently 🥳
→ Started reformer Pilates. Spent time in the mountainous north of Pakistan.
→ And I’ve been quietly building something new behind the scenes to help more marketers create product-led content without needing to hire me one-on-one.
All while maintaining a full client load.
I suppose the lesson here is that progress is often easier to spot in hindsight than in real time.
And since we’re in the spirit of looking back, here’s a recap of everything we talked about last month.
Rewinding: Inside PLC in May 2026
On keeping things buyer-first:
(This one’s frankly one of my personal favorites — loved writing it).
On showing up in LLMs/AI search:
On revenue-driving content:
Content that drives attention vs revenue (a reader-favorite)
Icky vs results-driving product listicles (another reader-favorite)
On simple introductions:
If a colleague or peer forwarded this email to you, and well, you want to keep on top of how to do product-led content that shows up in AI search, join us here 👇
Coming up next:
An update on moving from Substack — keep an eye out for my email tomorrow, I’ll tell you all about it.
Not to be sappy, but this newsletter would still be a half-finished draft if not for you reading it. So thank you for being here 🙏
I’d say I’d give you my iced Spanish latte… but let’s not get carried away!
Oh and you’re in good company, habibi — marketers from some of the best SaaS brands are reading this right alongside you:
