A case study in the making

My friends tell me I’ve a resting angry bird face.

In my defense, it’s the eyebrows — they’re usually smiling in reverse.

Today though, that resting angry bird face went out the window when a client messaged to say:

“Hi hi, was just having a nosey to see if we’re ranking yet with the comp management software blog, and we’re already no.1 position for 'best compensation management software 2025.’

‘Aaand we're in the AI overview too with a super strong, brand-aligned description of who we're best fit for.”

The fun part? It’s only been a few hours to publishing that post.

So if you’re guessing I’m grinning right now, you’re damn right 😁

And if you’ve been following along, you’d have probably also noticed I’m very much showing up to share my win with you outside my usual email timing.

But here’s the thing:

I didn’t want to overthink and shelve this for later (and ultimately never get around to sharing it!).

There’s never perfect timing, really.
